Forbidden Lands

The forbidden lands cover a lot of the worlds surface. It is believed to be about half of it. Although they are called forbidden, anyone can enter, but almost nobody returns.

They have been created by the impact.

In the forbidden lands, nothing grows and no animals are present, not even bugs have been discovered. The earth is dry and broken up, like dried skin. Some small expeditions traveled for almost a month in and returned with not seeing any changes are all.

It is mostly flat, with very faint hills.

A few single individuals live out there in shelters built mostly into the hard earth, as strong winds would blow anything else away. But they need to come back out of the lands regularly to gather even the most simple supplies.

Rumor has it that a tribe lives out there, but nobody has seen this fabled tribe yet and lived to tell any details.
