And six days after chapter 14, here comes chapter 15. It’s a short one, but I had to do it from scratch.

Zara is using a sword, let’s see where this goes.

Next chapter is lined up, needs some more editing but could be released pretty quickly. There are also a couple more features coming up. One, I already talked about, the flattr buttons on the bottom of each story page. I will add a couple more things, to make life easier for you but more on those when they are done. For now enjoy the chapter.

If you haven’t heard about flattr yet, you have missed something important. Like all these other small things on the internet have changed the way we blog, socialize, make bookmarks, chat and send mails, so is flattr a way to change how we pay for content.

Like you have seen in pages like Digg or Facebook, you get to see a lot of these flattr buttons all over the web soon. Clicking the flattr on the bottom actually allows you to say “Hey I like this”. But there is a twist. You go to flattr, sign up, and then you send flattr, say 2 bucks to start with. Now for a month, you click on flattr buttons as often or not often as you like. Every button you click is recorded and at the end of the month, your 2 bucks are split evenly among all the people you liked. This way you can give the people who are creating content money, without revealing details from yourself and all the hassle with it. The transfer is done instant and by PayPal, so it works very fast and simple.

The less people you click, the more each single person gets. So if you are interested in it, I still have a spare invited code for flattr left over.

Chapter 14 is here. It’s a true monster and it finally introduces the third of the main characters, Shimon. And you also get to see why Eric hates nobles.

I had all four wisdom teeth pulled at once a week ago and since then I had a pretty strict regiment of heavy medication. No pain, but there is this fuzzy feeling in my head which especially when I want to write, makes it hard to concentrate. It’s not so much like nailing pudding to the wall, it feels more like juggling with it. A very frustrating process that ends up in a gigantic mess every single time and has to be aborted as an activity all together. The few small moments my mind is clear enough I try to write as fast as I can, but it’s very though for editing. So next update might be a while.

This chapter took forever. I just could not find the right way to write it. There were a few small things wrong that made the entire chapter wrong. It still doesn’t feel perfectly right, but right enough to advance the story. Next one is a big one, but I’m already on revising stage there, hopefully a bit quicker this time than with 13.
