It looked like chapter 17 would take forever. Finally I got around to post it, as it has been sitting in my drive for a long time now. There are another 8 chapters written, but they are in a rather raw format and sometimes large gaps in between, so no new chapters for at least another month. I hit a huge slump in writing. Not that I don’t want to write, or can’t write because I don’t know what to. This is a weird case of writers block, where I can’t find the motivation to just write it down what is already swirling around in my head. I hope that maybe this will cure it a little or be a step forward.

Also the rewriting of younger chapters is going slower than anticipated, so I will hold off a bit there until I can get back on my feet writing wise.

Shimon and Eric meet Roman, an old friend of Shimon. He is a merchant and has a few things to say about their plans.

Someone told that I should never use the word finally. Now it’s tome to use it. I Finally finished chapter 16. It took so long because I was revising this thing to hell and back. I have rewritten this chapter so many times I lost track. In this current version it comes as close to my vision of it as my abilities allow me to.

Shimon and Eric come to a city called Northwood. They make their way through it when they encounter someone.

And six days after chapter 14, here comes chapter 15. It’s a short one, but I had to do it from scratch.

Zara is using a sword, let’s see where this goes.

Next chapter is lined up, needs some more editing but could be released pretty quickly. There are also a couple more features coming up. One, I already talked about, the flattr buttons on the bottom of each story page. I will add a couple more things, to make life easier for you but more on those when they are done. For now enjoy the chapter.

Chapter 14 is here. It’s a true monster and it finally introduces the third of the main characters, Shimon. And you also get to see why Eric hates nobles.

I had all four wisdom teeth pulled at once a week ago and since then I had a pretty strict regiment of heavy medication. No pain, but there is this fuzzy feeling in my head which especially when I want to write, makes it hard to concentrate. It’s not so much like nailing pudding to the wall, it feels more like juggling with it. A very frustrating process that ends up in a gigantic mess every single time and has to be aborted as an activity all together. The few small moments my mind is clear enough I try to write as fast as I can, but it’s very though for editing. So next update might be a while.

Another chapter with Taji’ra in it, read chapter 13. The baron has a guest, bringing news from Lionor.

This chapter took forever. I just could not find the right way to write it. There were a few small things wrong that made the entire chapter wrong. It still doesn’t feel perfectly right, but right enough to advance the story. Next one is a big one, but I’m already on revising stage there, hopefully a bit quicker this time than with 13.
